Why would you take an easy 500 level course?402 is basically an easy A if you go to lecture and keep up with the readings. 450 requires significantly more reading and the reading structure is much more sporadic (i.e. you will have to read 20 pages one week and 150 pages the next). The exams for 450 are also notoriously bad.
